These pictures came from the Smith Scrapbook that I had, along with pics from David Smith. Clearly taken all the same day. I shared it with Beth and Richard, and Beth posted it on Facebook. A Fayetteville friend immediately recognized the house in the back ground as the Wyatt House, currently an antique store.

Barbara cut her hair after High School graduation in 1950, before starting nursing school. Joe was in the Air Force at the time, and Estelle was in the Army, so clearly they were home on leave.

A bit of snooping around the internet lead me to discover that the car is a 1941 Ford Super Deluxe 2-door. Google maps allowed me to get a view from almost where they are standing!
